Lifestyle Hacks and Improvments
Turmeric / Curcumin :
You all know what it is. Its that spice that adds a peppery taste and that golden yellow tint to Indian Food.  But did you know that it can be one of the best spices you can use to improve your health?
This spice has been frequently used for its therapeutic benefits for over 4000 years, mainly in Southeast Asia and India.  But over the past years it is starting to gain popularity in western medicine and the U.S.
Here are some of the reasons to start spicing up your food, or finding a quality supplement to take:

Inflammation: In traditional medicine, curcumin has long been prized as a home remedy for fevers, swelling, and wounds.  Modern trials illustrate its ability to inhibit the expression of inflammatory enzymes and molecules.

With strong evidence of the connection between inflammation and many chronic diseases, curcumin’s value has wide implications and it could be considered a natural aid to counteract pro-inflammatory influences and oxidative stress.

Joint pain:  Research evaluating curcumin’s effects on the joints provide insight into its pain-relieving properties. A 2009 study in the Journal of Complementary and Alternative Medicine demonstrated that curcumin was equally effective and safe as ibuprofen at reducing pain and recovering function in patients with knee osteoarthritis.
In addition, a 2012 study in highlighted curcumin’s role in decreasing tenderness in the joints of patients with active rheumatoid arthritis.
These is also some great information showing that this wonder spice and also help to boost your immunity and strengthen your entire immune system.
So if you are suffering from inflammatory pain, and you are a terrible cook, you can improve 2 things with just adding one little spice.
Check a couple of issues ago you will find a few drink recipes using Turmeric.
