~Why I do what I do…

I was drawn to chiropractic after a personal health experience.

When I was in college I began to have horrible stomach troubles. At the time, I could not eat or drink without intense nausea and vomiting. I had lost about 25 pounds and had the worst night sweats you could imagine.

Not knowing anything about chiropractic or alternative medicine, I went the Western medicine route. I had all of the tests done for stomach and GI problems, but kept hearing, ‘We don’t know what is causing your problem…’, ‘Let’s change your medication and see if that does the trick.’

Well an upper GI, upper endoscope, and four prescription changes later, there was still no change. So I went to see a chiropractor. After four adjustments, everything was back to normal. Can you believe that — four visits! I couldn’t believe it myself.

That was when I knew what I was going to do with my life. I was going to become a chiropractor so I could make people feel the way I felt after I discovered chiropractic. I wanted to help people with my hands and all without the use of drugs or surgeries, but with the healing power of the body itself…

Do you have a story? Let us know if you do. We would love to hear how others have been touched by the power of chiropractic.
